The host Chiefs (9-4) used eight first-quarter turnovers by the Blue Devils (5-13) and some accurate 3-point shooting to build a 19-11 lead after the first quarter. The lead ballooned to 16 in the third quarter before Quincy made a run.

QHS twice had the ball and chances to cut the lead to six with about six minutes left in the game, but three missed layups stalled the Blue Devil rally.

Freshman Tori Kuhn led Quincy with 26 points, with senior Emily Hart and junior Shelby Wires each adding 10 points.

Quincy made only 18 of 32 free throws.

Ollie Vandenburg and Anna Kuckleman each had 13 points for Keokuk.
